I know that we each can find joy in our lives as we keep the commandments of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We learn that in 2 Nephi 2: 24-25 that, 24But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him whoaknoweth all things. 25 Adam bfell that men might be; and men, are that they might have djoy. If it had not been that Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit and were cast out, we would not be here on this earth. Because of the fall they were then able to have children, therefore we were given the privilege to come to this earth, receive a body, be tested and gain the knowledge we need to return to our Father in Heaven. We cannot experience true joy without having experienced sorrow or heartache. There is opposition in all things. 2 Nephi 2:11 We can find much happiness and joy as we strive to make good choices in our lives and be obedient. Satan wants to stop us from following Christ and his example so he is tempting us to do things his way. Joy is the natural fruit of obedience. “Men are, that they might have joy”, and joy is doing “all things whatsoever the Lord our God shall command” (Abr. 3:25).
