Joy in Our Lives!

I know that we each can find joy in our lives as we keep the commandments of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We learn that in 2 Nephi 2: 24-25 that, 24But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him whoaknoweth all things.  25 Adam bfell that men might be; and men, are that they might have djoy.  If it had not been that Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit and were cast out, we would not be here on this earth.  Because of the fall they were then able to have children, therefore we were given the privilege to come to this earth, receive a body, be tested and gain the knowledge we need to return to our Father in Heaven.  We cannot experience true joy without having experienced sorrow or heartache.  There is opposition in all things.  2 Nephi 2:11  We can find much happiness and joy as we strive to make good choices in our lives and be obedient.  Satan wants to stop us from following Christ and his example so he is tempting us to do things his way.  Joy is the natural fruit of obedience. “Men are, that they might have joy, and joy is doing “all things whatsoever the Lord our God shall command” (Abr. 3:25).

With a Joyful Heart

It is with a joyful heart that my husband and I want to share the gospel with anyone wanting to find joy in life.  We have found that joy in our lives and we came on a mission to do just that.  To share the happiness we have and why we have that joy.  We know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can bring joy to your heart and direction in your life as well a peace to your soul.  There is a talk given by ELDER LYNN A. MICKELSEN that I have found.  I decided to name my blog after the title.  In this talk we can learn how to have a joyful heart and a happy life.  I decided to share it with anyone wanting to know how that can happen.  It can give us all a guide for our lives.   I hope you enjoy it.   Click on this link to view the entire talk.
